More Introduction
1. Introduction to ETL Certification
ETL is the abbreviation of Electrical Testing Laboratories in the United States. It was founded by Thomas Edison in 1896 and is an NRTL (Nationally Accredited Laboratory) accredited by OSHA (Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration). After more than 100 years, the ETL logo has been widely recognized and accepted by major retailers in North America, and enjoys the same high reputation as UL. The North American market has the most advanced and perfect testing standards for products, and higher requirements for product testing and certification. ETL inspection mark Any electrical, mechanical or electromechanical product with the ETL inspection mark indicates that it has been tested and complies with relevant industry standards. In order to seize the US market, Chinese electrical and electronic products must overcome the constraints of these tests and standards.

5. ETL certification process
Process | ||
Step 1: |
Application |
1. The customer fills in the ETL application form; 2. Provide information such as battery specifications. |
Step 2: |
Quotation |
Determine test time and cost based on the information provided. |
Step 3: |
Pay |
After confirming the quotation, the applicant signs the application form and service agreement and pays the project fee. |
Step 4: |
Sample |
The customer sends the sample. |
Step 5: |
Test |
Laboratory conducts ETL testing of the applied products according to the ETL related testing standards. |
Step 6: |
Report |
The test passed and the report was completed. |
Step 7: |
Factory Inspection |
The ITS agency conducts a factory inspection of the application factory. |
Step 8: |
Certification |
After the factory inspection, ITS issued an ETL certificate. |
6. ETL certified factory inspection
Factory inspections are required before ETL is issued, and after that, irregular follow-up factory inspections will be carried out every quarter.
