UL
UL is short for Underwriter Laboratories Inc. The UL Safety Laboratory is the most authoritative in the United States and the largest private institution engaged in safety testing and identification in the world. UL certification is a non-mandatory certification in the United States, mainly testing and certification of product safety performance. The entire U.S. market places great emphasis on product safety; more than 40,000 federal, state, county, and municipal governments in the U.S. all recognize the UL certification mark; Amazon USA also mandates that some products have UL certification.
More Introduction
1. Introduction of UL certification
2. UL certification mark
For different types of UL services, UL marks can be divided into three categories, LISTED listing marks, Classified classification certification marks, and Recognize parts certification marks. UL's services are not only based on American UL standards, but also Canadian standards (cUL). As a result, UL marks are also divided into three types for UL products and cUL products, as well as for both. The "us" at the bottom right of the UL mark means it is suitable for the United States, the "c" at the bottom left means it is suitable for Canada, and both "us" and "c" are suitable for use in both countries.

Step 1: |
Application |
1. The customer fills in the UL application form; 2. Provide information such as battery specifications. |
Step 2: |
Quotation |
Determine test time and cost based on the information provided. |
Step 3: |
Pay |
After confirming the quotation, the applicant signs the application form and service agreement and pays the project fee. |
Step 4: |
Sample |
The customer sends the sample. |
Step 5: |
Test |
laboratory performs UL testing on the applied products according to UL related testing standards. |
Step 6: |
Report |
The test passed and the report was completed. |
Step 7: |
Factory Inspection |
The UL agency conducts a factory inspection of the application factory. |
Step 8: |
Certification |
After the factory inspection, UL issued a UL certificate. |
7.UL factory inspection:
UL audits the factory four times a year. In addition to the quarterly audit and the annual audit, the factory is also audited every year. The materials to be prepared for the UL audit are:
(1) Production and quality control procedures
(2) Inspection standards for main components and finished products
(3) Record of the certificate of main parts and components (yellow card)
(4) Material table of the product
(5) Main document of plastic material control
(6) Main document of production control
(7) Record of UL label
(8) Main parts and components Recycling of Packaging Bulk Label
